IT’S GONE NOW. One is annoyed.
I’m charging them for it, I shall be sending my letter of demand in today. I think £50 is a suitable fee for my time and effort. Just imagine what they’d charge me if I did that to them!
Edit:
I’ve written the letter, any advice to make it look more bank like?

RE: Missing transaction on 3 May, 2006 for £201.77.
To Whom It May Concern:
On the morning of 3 May 3, 2006 you placed a pending transaction of £201.77 in to my account which was removed without trace at 8:45am (see attached screen capture).
This letter is a demand for payment of a £40 charge (payable immediately) for this transaction. This charge covers my effort to find what occurred with this transaction and eventual dissapointment with being in a inch grasp of the above mentioned amount.
Please make payment of this charge to my account as if I were to do the same thing to you lot, no doubt you’d charge me twice as much for it.
Kind regards,
Kevin Costelloe
